Music, what I’d be without it…

I’m very curious musically and open to any suggestion (here).
My musical recommendations:
- Television – Marquee Moon (1977): superb album, I love ‘See No Evil’ and ‘Marquee Moon’.
- Deep Purple – Machine Head (1972): one of my favourite progressive rock albums. Try ‘Highway Star’, ‘Lazy’ and ‘Space Truckin’.
- Tool – ‘Right In Two’ (from 10,000 Days, 2006): goose bumps!.
- Sting – The Dream Of The Blue Turtles (1985): specially ‘Russians’ and ‘Moon Over Bourbon Street’.
- Depeche Mode – ‘Clean’ (from Violator, 1990).
- Pet Shop Boys – Please (1986), Actually (1987), Introspective (1988). A must.
- Sonic Youth – ‘’Cross the breeze’ (from Daydream Nation, 1988).
- Fleetwood Mac – Tango In The Night (1987).
- Peter Gabriel – So (1986).
- Depeche Mode – ‘Strangelove’ (from Music For The Masses, 1987).
- Analog Missionary – I discovered them by a pure but happy chance. To me, half Cocteau Twins, half Sigur Rós sometimes. Try their first album, Transmitter (2002), and also Voyage Of The Demeter (2003), music written for the 1922 film ‘Nosferatu’. Sublime. They are nice people, you can buy both CDs and get them signed too here.
- Underworld – Dubnobasswithmyheadman (1993). M.E., my best.
- Elvis Costello & The Attractions – Armed Forces (1979). ‘Accidents will happen’ and ‘Oliver’s Army’, a must.
- Muse – ‘’Butterflies and hurricanes’ (from Absolution, 2003).
- Radiohead – I’ve always had to listen to their albums several times before “getting into them” except their first one, Pablo Honey (1993), one of my favourites which reminds me my grunge and indie teenage. It was hard but finally I got into The Bends (1995) thanks to a friend who was fond of it, and OK Computer (1997) after fighting everyone (“it’s their best album, how can you say you don’t like it?? Anathema!!!”) Haven’t seen them live though… yet.
- The Psychedelic Furs – Forever Now (1982).
- UV Pop – No Songs Tomorrow (1983). Decadent. Lovely.
- Gang Of Four – Entertainment! (1979).
- Cocteau Twins – Treasure (1984). Marvellous. A treasure, like its name.
