Orient Express
A falta de comensales, sushi casero en cantidades industriales para congelar. Listo para dejar unas horas en la tibiedad ambiental, darle un toque de jengibre marinado y salsa de soja, y al buche.
Esta vez el relleno incluye tortilla, palitos de cangrejo y zanahoria. Mis combinaciones vegetarianas favoritas incluyen pimiento rojo y verde en crudo, pepino y calabacín. Tengo pendiente hacerlos dulces, se me ocurre un relleno de melocotón o de mango glaseado, aunque unas peras a la canela con cardamomo tampoco le tienen que ir mal.
Investigaremos y degustaremos.

Filled up
Thursday nite homeparty: home-made pizza, Ribera del Duero red wine and chocolate. Assorted mushrooms, red pepper and aubergine with tarragon cover in a whole-grain flour pastry with garlic olive oil and basil, spread all over with parmesan cheese. Best way ever to finish the week.
Fiesta casera del jueves noche: pizza casera, vino tinto Ribera del Duero y chocolate. Relleno de setas variadas, pimiento rojo y berenjena con estragón sobre una base de harina integral con aceite de oliva al ajo y albahaca, espolvoreado con queso parmesano. La mejor forma de terminar la semana.
Definitivamente mis compañeros valen su peso en oro :) Y mi pulso ya no es lo que era…

Segundo asalto zelkoviano: lasaña al romero. Relleno de berenjena, pimiento verde y zanahoria, con bechamel a la pimienta, cilantro molido y toneladas de romero, sobre una base de aceite de oliva de ajo y cayena. El toque: gratinado con queso Tetilla. Esperar a mañana va a ser un dolor…
Second Zelkovian round: rosemary lasagne. Aubergine, green pepper and carrot filling, with black pepper, coriander and tons of rosemary blended bechamel sauce, in a bed of garlic-Cayenne pepper olive oil. The touch: grilled Tetilla cheese. Waiting until tomorrow will be a pain…

La Nueva Ola de la cocina zelkoviana: pechuga de pollo rellena de ciruelas pasas, pimiento morrón y queso, con un toque de cilantro, acompañado con tomate, lechuga, cilantro y pimiento rojo y verde. Aceite de oliva al ajo y vinagre balsámico.
¡¡Por fin tengo horno!!
New Wave Zelkovian cuisine: chicken breast filled with dried plums, sweet pepper and cheese, with a touch of pepper and coriander, garnished with tomato, lettuce, coriander, red and green peper. Garlic olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Resulta gracioso compartir una ducha con el vecino de al lado, cuando desde el otro lado del tabique oigo la música al mismo volumen que la habría puesto yo en mi casa, y se le oye cantar a voz en grito. Con todos los discazos que tiene Metallica, ¿por qué tuvo que elegir Load†? El próximo día creo que me permitiré el sugerirle en Ride the Lightning, llevo tiempo sin cantar entre champú aquello de die by my hand, I creep across the land killing first-born man…

Xtmas afternoons no. 1
Warmth, home-made natural orange-flavoured marzipan and a cup of Xtmas tea. Paradise down on earth.
Risotto de níscalos
Arroz integral, níscalos, puerro, ajo y queso. Puro otoño.
Whole-grain rice, wild mushroom, leek, garlic and cheese. Pure autumn.
